I spent over eight years caring for over 200 parrots, I know what it takes to ensure your bird is healthy, comfortable, and happy. In my experience, this takes a lot of patience and attention. Birds are as smart as children and it really takes a lot of stimulation to make them happy. We all know they tend to be picky on who they choose to like and dislike. Volunteering at Zoo Miami has taught me many things about enrichment and I am excited to share all my expertise with you in case you’re interested in an enrichment plan, nutrition advice, or cage maintenance. I will make sure your special feathered friend has a wonderful time. I’m sure we will will hit it off and send you cute dancing videos while you are on vacation or at work.

This is my expertise as I have worked for 9+ years in the exotic animal care field. Having worked with primates, birds, reptiles, and mammals I truly understand what it takes for each individual animal to be happy and healthy. Strict dietary needs are no problem! In my years of working with exotics, I've spent most of my time prepping food and feeding. Of course, the rest of my time was spent cleaning, training, and loving them. Each individual animal needs a specific care plan and I am so excited to meet your special pet and accommodate a wonderful time for them while you are away.
